BSA PACK 1587 Den Meeting Rules:


A parent and/or adult 18 yrs. or older must accompany your child
at all den and pack meetings. Your child cannot be dropped off
and picked up later. Parent needs to stay inside the hall area 
and not wait outside since you might need to help your child during one of the activities.

All cub scouts and adults are to stay out of the kitchen area.
 Only Leadership and den are allowed in the kitchen area if working on an experiment. 

The coke machine in the hall is not to be used to purchase any
 soft drinks while a den meeting is in progress. 

Parents, if you bring other siblings, you will need to keep them under
 control and not allow them to run up and down the hall. Bring them 
something to keep them occupied while den meeting is in progress. 

There is to be no shoving, hitting, or fighting whatsoever during our 
den meetings and/or pack meetings.

Each den leader will have the option of either collecting den dues and/or
 asking for you, the parent, to bring items to help out when working on any crafts.

Any problems that you might be having with anyone in the den are not to
 be aired out during den meetings. You are to wait until every child has
 left and then bring whatever problem you have to the attention of the 
Den Leader and Committee Chairman.

If for any reason a den meeting has to be cancelled, you will be 
contacted in advance by the den leader. If your child is not going 
to be able to attend a den meeting, please contact the den leader and 
let him/her know. Please make sure that you give Lily Rodriguez your
 most current contact information. 

Every effort should be made to have your son in his uniform by no 
later than the October Pack meeting. Our uniform is from the belt up.
 We do not wear the Cub Scout pants and/or socks. 

All belt loops should be earned during a den meeting and/or den outing,
 with the exception of baseball, softball, soccer and/or if your son plays
 on a team at school or YMCA, etc…

Our Pack goes camping once a year. We usually go in the month of November.
 We will go over rules for camping when the time comes.

There are some activities that the Sam Houston Area Council has for cub scouts.
 If we are going as a Pack and/or Den group, you will be notified ahead of time.
 However, if we do not go as a group, you can take your child on your
 own and just bring back information and any patches that you purchased 
so that they can be presented at the Pack meeting. 

The Den Leader is responsible for calling in all Pack awards to 
Lily Rodriguez by no later than the Wednesday before Pack meeting night.

* In our Pack, we have 3 Strikes and You Are Out rule. 

Rule No. 1------ No talking back to any of the adult leadership. 

Rule No. 2------No Fighting whatsoever 

Rule No. 3------Safety First.

 

BSA PACK 1587 Reglas del Den:
 

Un padre o adulto de 18 años en adelante tiene que acompañar el niño
 a todas las Reuniones de Grupos (Pack Meetings) y a las Reuniones 
de Subgrupos (Den Meetings). Su hijo no puede ser dejado aquí para después 
ser recogido. El Padre necesita estar adentro del salón y no esperar afuera 
por si el niño necesita ayuda con una actividad. 

Todos los exploradores de cachorros (Cub Scouts) y adultos necesitan estar
 fuera de la cocina. Solo los Líders son permitidos en la cocina y solo cuando 
estén trabajando en un experimento. 

La máquina de cocas en el salón no deberá ser utilizada para comprar refrescos
mientras la reunión de Subgrupos o Reunión de Grupos lleve acabo. 

Padres, si usted trae a otros hijos, usted necesitará mantenerlos bajo control 
y no permitir que corran en el pasillo ni en el salón. Por favor de traerles algo
 para mantenerlos ocupados mientras la reunión lleve acabo. 

No debería haber absolutamente nada de empujar, golpear, ni luchar durante ninguna 
de nuestras reuniones.

Cada líder de la reunión de subgrupos tendrá la opción de coleccionar dinero para 
su grupo y/o de pedir que los padres traigan artículos para ayudar en hacer algún 
proyecto de artes. 

Algún problema que usted quizás esté teniendo con alguna persona en las reuniones
 no se deberá ser dicho durante las reuniones. Por favor de esperar hasta que cada 
niño se haya ido y entonces comunicar cualquier problema que usted tenga a la atención
 del Líder de su grupo y Presidente de Comité. 

Si por alguna razón una reunión de subgrupos se tiene que cancelar, usted será 
contactado en el avance por el líder de su grupo. Si su niño no podrá asistir
 una reunión de subgrupos, por favor contacte al líder de su grupo para avisarle.

Cada esfuerzo se debe hacer para tener a su hijo en su uniforme no mas tardar
 para la Reunión de Grupos de Octubre. Nuestro uniforme es del cinturón para arriba.
 Nosotros no llevamos los pantalones de Explorador de Cachorro y/o calcetines. 

Todos los lazos del cinturón se deben ganar durante una junta de subgrupos y/o
 excursión de grupos con la excepción del béisbol, soccer, fútbol y/o si su hijo 
juega en un equipo en la escuela o YMCA, etc…

Nuestro Grupo va a campamento una vez al año. Generalmente vamos en el mes de Noviembre.
 Repasaremos las reglas para el campamento cuando nos acerquemos mas a esa temporada. 

Hay algunas actividades que el Concilio de Área de Sam Houston tiene para exploradores 
de cachorro. Si vamos como una Reunión de grupos y/o de Subgrupos, usted será notificado
 con tiempo. Sin embargo, si nosotros no vamos como un grupo, usted a un puede 
llevar a su niño y solo necesita devolver al líder la información y/o cualquier
 remienda que usted compró para que sean presentados en la Reunión de Grupos. 

El Líder de cada Subgrupo es responsable de llamar todos los premios que consiguieron
 los niños a Lily Rodriguez no mas tardar para el miércoles antes de la Reunión de Grupos.

* En nuestro Grupo, nosotros tenemos la regla: 3 Huelgas y Usted Está Fuera 

Regla No. 1-----¡No contestar irrespetuoso a ningún Líder! 

Regla No. 2------¡No Pelear por ningún motivo!

Regla No. 3------¡La Seguridad Siempre es Primero!
